Brilliant is a four-level story-based course for children. It covers a solid grammar syllabus and skills work through an absorbing and beautifully illustrated story.

Each Pupil´s Book has eight main units and four review units which follow the same characters on their adventures throughout each level.

Each unit presents a language area and stimulating practice exercises through an episode of the story which ends in cliffhanger style at the end of each unit (and finishes happily at the end of each level).

Listening comprehensions also involve lively, catchy songs which include the target language for each unit.

A particularly popular feature of this course is the project work in the Adventure Notebook in every unit. Each of these contains a simple reading text presented with photographs which will appeal to pupils as they work through these mini-projects. Each notebook section has a multicultural feel and covers topics such as cities, food, national costumes and daily routines.

The detailed Teacher´s Guide provides easy-to-use lesson plans with further ideas and a wide choice of games to use in class.
